Why these terms read differently
Terms from the closed labs and hyperscalers govern a service you can never inspect and never take with you:
- Anthropic, OpenAI, Google, xAI — a lab can't hand you its kitchen.
- Microsoft, Bedrock, the clouds — a cloud can't let you leave the cloud.
- Bike4Mind — the state-of-the-art full workbench and a structural exit: source-available code, your-AWS deployment, your own keys.
Terms you could walk away from are the only terms worth trusting — see “Leave Us Out of the Loop” below.
Service Terms

Account Responsibilities
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You agree not to share your account access with unauthorized users.
- You must provide accurate information during registration.

Model Access
- Access to specific AI models is determined by your subscription tier.
- We reserve the right to modify model availability based on usage patterns.
- Private model deployments are subject to additional enterprise terms.
- Model outputs may not be unique across users due to the nature of AI.

- API rate limits are enforced based on your subscription tier.
- Excessive or abusive usage patterns may result in temporary restrictions.
- Enterprise customers may negotiate custom usage limits.
- We may modify or terminate access to our services at any time.

Data Processing
- Your data and interactions are processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
- We process personal data only as necessary to operate, secure, and route the service. We do not train models on your content.
- You retain ownership of your content while granting us the limited license needed to run the service.
- Our operational telemetry is content-free — it never includes your conversations or files.

- We maintain commercially reasonable security measures to protect your data.
- All data is encrypted in transit and at rest.
- Ongoing security review of our code and infrastructure, including internal red-team exercises.
- The code that handles your data is source-available — your security team can read it rather than take our word.

- Inspect the code — the core that handles your data is source-available. Read exactly how it works before you trust a word of this page.
- Run it yourself — deploy Bike4Mind in your own AWS, or self-host the open core, and your data never touches our infrastructure at all.
- Bring your own keys — or run open-weight models on your own hardware, and no third-party provider policy rides along either.
- And that is exactly why you can trust the hosted service — these terms are enforceable against a vendor you can audit and leave. See §0 of our Usage Policy (“the door out”). Sovereignty is the product, not an upsell.

Subscription Terms
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually based on your selection.
- Your usage Balance rolls over for up to 3 months on active subscriptions.
- Unused Balance expires upon subscription cancellation.
- Automatic renewal applies unless cancelled 7 days before renewal date.

Refunds & Disputes
- Pro-rated refunds available within 14 days of subscription start.
- Unused Balance may be refunded at our discretion.
- Enterprise contracts have custom refund terms.
- Disputes must follow our dispute resolution process.
